Frances M. Bivens-Reid, age 70, of Newtown Square, PA passed away on December 19, 2016.
Born in Portland, OR to the late Neva (nee Rodgers) and Douglas Bland Bivens, Frances worked as a CAT Scan Technician. She was an adventurer who loved to read and travel and enjoyed boating and her Bernese Mountain dogs.
Frances was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Raymond G. Reid. She is survived by her children Emily Ryan (Chris) and Jordan Reid, her grandchildren Cassidy, Christopher, Haley and Bella as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother James Bivens and sister-in-law Norma.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family, Tuesday, December 27th from 10:00-11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Frances' memory to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
