Frances C. Buchanan

Frances C. Buchanan (née Stayduhar), 96, formerly of Havertown, PA passed away on April 25, 2022.

Born in Claysburg, PA in 1925, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Frances (née Kasun) Stayduhar.

Frances worked as a telephone operator and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She was a wonderful cook and fantastic baker. An avid reader, she also enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy and her beloved Phillies.

Frances was a long time St. Pius X parishioner. Her faith was a very special part of her life, which meant so much to her.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Buchanan; loving mother of Robert F. and John (Barbara); devoted grandmother of K. Jake Buchanan (Kelly) and Allison Buchanan; dear sister of Mary Olphiant.

She was predeceased by her siblings; Michael Stayduhar, Martin Stayduhar and Catherine Inabenet.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:00-10:00 AM Friday May 6, 2022 at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA 19008 followed by her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
