Frances Dagney

Frances K. Dagney (nee Keenly), age 84, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on September 11, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Frances Keenly (nee Willard).
Frances was a 1949 graduate of Marple Newtown High School. She was employed as a Pharmacy Technician for Medic Pharmaceuticals in Edgemont, PA for over 10 years. She was also employed as the Head of the Philatellis Department of the Franklin Mint in Media, PA for 15 years. She retired in 1991.
She was an avid outdoorswoman and taught women hunting and fishing skills.
Frances was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Dagney, Jr. She is survived by her children Christine Schwenk, Georgine Leah Smith and Thomas J. Dagney, III, D.O., her daughter-in-law, Holly D. Dagney, D.O., her grandchildren Christopher and Adam Schwenk and Amanda Leah Smith and her sister Dale Bennett Keenly Clark.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday, September 17, 2015 10:30 AM-12 Noon The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA (610) 353-6300. Words of Remembrance will follow at 12 Noon. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Delaware County Longbeards Chapter of the National Turkey Federation, c/o Chuck Matthues, 4105 Mount Vernon Avenue, Brookhaven, PA 19015 would be appreciated.
