Frances A. Forbes (nee Krupski), age 90, of Wallingford, PA, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2015. Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Stella Krupski (nee Owstrowska).
Frances attended Ridley High School where she met her late husband, Robert B. Forbes, Sr. She held various jobs, but the one she was most proud of was becoming a head Postmaster during World War II.
She enjoyed gardening, bowling, and playing board games with her family. She was known for her kindness and gentle manner among her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings Joseph and Josephine. She is survived by her children Patricia Mathias, Robert (Leeny) Forbes, Jr., John (Jean) Forbes, Michael Forbes, Debra (Jim) Sikkema and Catherine (Tom) Bradley, 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday, September 8, 2015 9:30-10:20 AM St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Road, Media, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
