Frances "Alicia" Gierula, 77 of Tampa, Florida passed away on September 22, 2018.
Born in 1940, in Chester, PA, Alicia was the daughter to William and Sophie Gierula.
She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Media and then pursued her calling from God and entered the convent.
She was ordinated into the Bernadine Sisters of St. Francis in Reading, PA.
After her faithful service to god, Alicia followed her passion for Art, Education and Travel
She taught at Tampa Catholic for the remainder of her career.
She loved quilting especially in her circles with dear friends.
Alicia is survived by her sister, Bunny Summers her brother-in-law Joseph Summers her niece, Alicia Jenkins, several great nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service 9:00 AM Friday, September 29 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church 17512 Lakeshore Road, Lutz FL 33558.
The family will receive guests in the church hall immediately following the services.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to St. Timothy's Catholic Church.
