Frances Mary Jung

Frances Mary Jung, 72, of Dale City, VA passed away on June 22, 2020. She was the beloved daughter of the late Francis T. & Mary R. (nee Roesner) Flynn.

Fran was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan and the University of Dayton, where she played basketball and studied journalism. She worked as a technical writer and contractor for the US government until she retired. 

Fran was a soccer mom, loved Hallmark Christmas movies, and was a voracious reader who especially enjoyed mysteries. She loved dogs, going to the shore, and was always supportive and happy of others when good things happened to them.  What Fran loved the most though was spending time with her family and friends, particularly when it involved a shopping trip on the hunt for good bargains.

Fran is survived by her loving children Jack, Ian, Francis, Mary Grace, Katie and Ali.  She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren Emma, Sawyer, Finn, Elli and Junior, and her cherished sister Mary C. Flynn.

Family and friends are invited to her Visitation on July 29, 2022 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave. Morton, Pa 19070 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM followed by her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass. Interment will be at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
