Frances A. O'Neill

Frances (Fran) Angela O’Neill (nee Casper), 63, of West Chester, PA formerly of Delaware County, peacefully passed away on April 26^th, 2024, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loved ones.

Born November 12, 1960 in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of Stephen Peter Casper and the late Frances Rose Casper.

Fran was full of life. Her vibrant personality, infectious laugh, and contagious smile would light up the room.  Fran loved the outdoors and found joy walking on the beach and working in her flower and vegetable gardens.  She enjoyed traveling, especially to her happy place, Madeira Beach, FL.  Fran was a fan of reality TV and anything on the Hallmark channels.  She loved collecting Lucille Ball memorabilia, angels, Christmas ornaments from the many places she visited, and anything purple. Fran loved being with family and friends, and had terrific fun playing with her great nieces and nephews.  She was a proud Eucharistic Minister at Sts. Peter and Paul for many years.

 Fran was the beloved wife of almost 15 years of Christopher Paul O’Neill.  She is survived by her O’Neill in-laws, Jackie (Daniel deceased), Patrick & Mary Lou, Margaret, Michael and Cathy, Philip & Mary Ann, and Kevin; nine nephews & nieces; and eight great nephews and nieces.  She is also survived by her honorary sisters Regina Pollock (Kevin) and Nancy Holland.

Fran fought for over 7 years a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was, as she would say, “Delco Strong.”  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Paoli Cancer Center, 255 W. Lancaster Avenue, Paoli, PA 19301.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Sunday May 5^th, 2024 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, and Monday on May 6^th, 2024 from 9:30AM to 10:20AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Peter and Paul Parish, 1325 Boot Rd, West Chester, PA 19380. Interment at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul road, Springfield, PA 19064.
