Frances Vlassopoulos

Frances Eileen “Frankie” Vlassopoulos (nee Wakula), age 78, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on March 11, 2021.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Wakula (nee Deecke).

Frankie had been employed as an Administrative Assistant for Upper Darby Township in the Licenses & Inspections Department for 25 years.    She was a member of the Eastern Star Friendship Chapter 551 and loved playing the piano.

Frankie was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Vlassopoulos in 2010.   She is survived by her loving daughters Emily Vlassopoulos (Louis Alioto) and Kathryn Vlassopoulos, her sisters Elaine Declercq and Dorothy Lynn Kelleher and her aunt, Delores Wilk.

Relatives, friends and employees of Upper Darby Township are invited to visit the family Friday, March 19, 2021 9:00-11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (Cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.  Interment Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA.

Masks are to be worn when visiting the family, to the Service and the Cemetery.   Social distancing is to be observed.
