Francis Clancy

Francis V. Clancy, age 93, of Media, PA, formerly of Southwest Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2019.

Born in Philadelphia, he was raised by his late mother, Eleanor Clancy and his late grandmother,Theresa Clancy.

Francis served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during WW II.  He was a former member of St. Barnabas Church and a devout Catholic.

Francis was the beloved husband of Jane A. (nee Maize) Clancy; the loving father of Michael Clancy (Caroline), Pat Clancy and the late Vincent Joseph Clancy; the proud grandfather of Kimberlee, Michele, Justin, Amy and Cory; and great-grandfather of Jackson, Madilyn, Luke, Gabriel, Devon and Kylie.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Wednesday, October 9, 2019, 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA  19008, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.   Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.
