Francis Devine

Francis B. Devine passed away on December 26, 2013. He was the son of the late Francis Benedict and Anne Marie Devine (nee Guinan). Frank grew up in the Oakview section of Drexel Hill. He attended St. Charles Borromeo School and was a 1962 Graduate of Msgr. Bonner High School.



Frank was employed by the US Postal Service where he served as Post Master in the Glen Mills, Kennett Square, Bryn Mawr, & Lansdowne post offices and retired in 2006. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed college basketball, especially the Big 5 and Penn State Football. In addition, he loved traveling, and playing golf with his friends. Frank enjoyed spending summers vacationing at the Jersey shore and cherished the memories he made with his children. He was the beloved father of Courtney A. (Rocco) Spinelli, and Rory F. Devine; grandfather to Carrie and Devin. He is also survived by his siblings, Joanne (John) Quinn, Maureen (John) Dolceamore, and James (Joanne) Devine and his loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Interment St Charles, Drexel Hill, PA.
