Frank "Tubsy" Giampietro of Downingtown, PA
Francis Joseph Giampietro, Sr., 72, of Downingtown, PA passed away on February 2, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born in 1941 in Phoenixville, PA, Frank was the son of the late Salvatore and Mary (Chuck) Giampietro.
Frank was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jane (McNamara) Giampietro; his two sons Peter and wife, Susan Giampietro of Phoenixville, PA and Frank and wife, Stephanie Giampietro of Downingtown, PA; his two grandchildren, Maceo and Celia Giampietro; siblings, Nicholas Giampietro of Phoenixville, PA and Mary (Giampietro) Kaba of Royersford, PA; and many loving nieces , nephews and relatives.
Frank was preceded in death by his son, Salvatore Giampietro.
He loved golf and very much enjoyed the numerous golfing trips he took around the country and the countless rounds he shared through the years with his family and friends.
He also enjoyed working in his yard, which was evident from the many transformations it had each year.
Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
