Francis W. Janssen, 90, of West Chester, PA passed away on August 30, 2017.
Born in St. Paul, MN in 1926, he was the son of the late Leo and Elizabeth (nee Loftus) Janssen. Frank worked at Wyeth Laboratories for over 30 years as a biochemist.
He was the beloved husband of Dorothy V. (nee Racine) Janssen, with whom he shared 67 years of marriage; loving father of Mark F. Janssen (Cathy) and Denise West (Mike); devoted grandfather of Michelle Falkowski (Adam), Jennifer Stevenson (Jason), Staci Swoboda (Richard), and Travis Janssen; adoring great-grandfather of Lilian, Joshua, Annabelle, Emily, and Benjamin; dear brother of Betty Rowe; predeceased by his siblings Robert, Edward, Catherine, and Mary and his great-grandchild, Isabella.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA 19382 followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment St. Agnes Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caring Hospice, 400 Commerce Drive, Ste C, Fort Washington, PA 19034 or SS Simon & Jude Church at the address listed above.
