Francis McCabe, Sr.

Francis X. McCabe, Sr., age 86, of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Havertown, PA, passed away on December 31, 2013 peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anne McCabe (nee Considine). He was a proud graduate of St. Thomas More High School in Philadelphia. He was employed by RCA as an Electronic Technician until his retirement at the age of 60.



Francis is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marie T. McCabe (nee Walsh), his children Francis X. (Mary), Thomas J. (Sheila), Marie K. (Edward) Stevens, Kathleen E. (Andrew) Gran, Maureen J. (Francis) Naselli, Bernadette T. (William) Boylan, Robert N., Nicholas P. (Mary Teresa) and Julianne M. (James) McCabe-Ranieri. Also survived by his 40 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
