Francis McGuckin, age 87, of Sea Isle City, NJ, formerly of Broomall, PA passed away on July 25, 2015.
Born in Moneymore, County Derry, Ireland, Francis was the son of the late Peter and Bridget (nee McCann) McGuckin. He worked as a Bus Driver and Trolley Operator for the Red Arrow division of SEPTA for 36 years, retiring in 1989.
Mr. McGuckin is survived by his loving wife Mary (nee Bones), his devoted children Maureen Manion (Tom), Catherine Hogg (Randall) and Michael McGuckin (Kris) and his cherished grandchildren Rory, Siobhaun, Jennifer, Kristin, Katelyn, Jonathan, Evan and Connor. He was predeceased by his siblings Christopher, John and Gerry.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing, Wednesday, July 29, 2015 6:00 to 8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073 (610) 353-6300 and Thursday, July 30, 2015 9:00 to 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 126 44th Street, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243 followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment Cape May Veteran's Cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ.
