Francis Joseph “Frank” McMenamin, age 86, of Havertown, PA, passed away on July 16, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Dominic and Catherine McMenamin (nee Kyne). 

Frank had an illustrious career spanning 50 years in the Printing Industry and always made a lasting impact with his hard work and commitment. He began his journey at Chilton Publishing Company and later transitioned to Strassheim Printing Company, where he dedicated 37 years of service before retiring. His ethic and expertise were admired by all who had the pleasure of working alongside him.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Frank proudly served in the Army, showcasing his bravery and patriotism for his country. His military service reflected his selflessness and honor.

Beyond his professional and military life, Frank found immense joy in various hobbies and interests. He savored reading the newspaper daily, finding solace in staying informed. Sports held a special place in his heart, particularly basketball, pickleball, and tennis. His competitive spirit shone brightly on the court or field. Frank loved to play cards with his friends and they were lucky enough to play together for many years.

However, above all else, Frank cherished spending time with his beloved family. Nothing brought him greater joy than being with his grandchildren—creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love that will forever be treasured.

Frank was the beloved husband of the late Joan D. McMenamin (nee Drinkhouse); loving father of Michael F. and Thomas K. McMenamin; adoring grandfather of Alyssa, Devin, and Brandon McMenamin; and caring brother of Peter McMenamin. Predeceased by his siblings, Eleanor Quinn and James McMenamin.

Relatives and friends are invited to Frank’s Viewing 10:00-10:50 AM on Saturday, July 27th at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA 19083, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Frank’s name to a Mental Health Charity of your Choice or Little Sisters of the Poor, 5300 Chester Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19143, littlesistersofthepoorphiladelphia.org, would be appreciated.
