Francis J. McNamara, age 81, of North Cape May, NJ, formerly of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on August 20, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John and Margaret McNamara (nee Hunter).
Francis was employed as a Mail Carrier and a Supervisor with the United States Post Office in Broomall, PA. He retired in 1995.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary H. McNamara (nee Mostardi), his loving daughters Mary Nee (Tom) and Ruthanne Quinn (John) and his grandchildren John Quinn, Jr., Tom Nee, Jr., Alicia Quinn and Christopher Nee.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday, August 25, 2015 9:30-10:20 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, 3401 Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104 would be appreciated.
