Francis Paris, Jr.

Francis J.  “Frank” Paris, Jr., age 74, of Chester Springs, PA, passed away on July 18, 2020.

Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Francis Paris, Sr. and Jane (nee Weippert) Paris.

Frank graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School in 1964 and served in the US Army. After his service he attended his beloved Temple University where he earned a degree in Elementary Education. Frank taught several grade levels at Norwood elementary school in Interboro School District but had a special place in his heart for his 5th grade classes.

Frank fell in love with music teacher, Jane Barnes and they married in 1975. He continued teaching and also served as the academic dean of students for his school.

Outside of teaching, Frank was dedicated to family and friends. He was an amazing father and devoted husband. Frank adored being Pop Pop to his grandsons.

He loved spending time golfing or at their home in Sunset Beach, NC. Frank will be missed.

Frank was the beloved husband of Jane (nee Barnes) Paris; loving father of Scott Paris, Laura Shadow (Daniel); caring grandfather of Benjamin and Jack Shadow; and dear brother of Mary Schwankert, Dianne Krumm, James Paris, Jerome Paris (Nancy), Janet Stern (Kevin), and the late Charles Paris.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Mass 10:00 AM Monday, July 19, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 120 St. Elizabeth Drive, Chester Springs, PA 19425.
