Francis Tripodi

Frank Tripodi, 49, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on April 16, 2021.

Frank was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Temple Law School. After several years as an associate with Dechert, Frank joined Troutman Pepper.  He became a partner, handling employee benefits issues.  Frank’s career was marked not only by his legal skill and business acumen, but by his common sense, good humor, and quick wit.

Frank was a world class traveler and foodie, from a trip to a spa at the base of Mount Fuji to a dinner at Morimoto or La Buca on a weeknight. He loved Shakespeare, history, sports, random facts, and jokes, and could effortlessly combine some or all of these into a single conversation.  A hopeless romantic, he loved love, and had a generous heart.  There was never a dull moment when Frank was around.  From the moment he arrived, his personality and spirit would capture a room, and he turned even the most ordinary events into fantastic entertainment.

Frank often said that time is the one thing people cannot earn more of.  Those who loved him feel lucky that he spent that time with them.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 5:00 – 6:30 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Service at 6:30 PM. Interment will be private

Masks are to be worn when visiting the family, to the Funeral Service and Social Distancing is to be observed.
