Frank Donald “Eichy” Eichman, age 86, of West Chester, PA, passed away on January 1, 2025. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he was the son of the late Dorothy (nee Probst) and Frank Eichman, Sr.

Frank was a man of remarkable character and varied interests, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, adventure, and community spirit.

He began his journey at Waldron Academy before graduating from St. Joseph’s College. In 1965, Frank co-founded Havertown Printing alongside his good friend Bill Coale, a venture that flourished under his leadership until his retirement in 1997 at the age of 59. Today, the business continues to thrive as Alcom Printing, led by his son Don and his business partners.

An avid outdoorsman, Frank traveled the globe hunting and fishing, finding joy in nature’s beauty. A lifelong member of Llanerch Country Club, he cherished over 70 years of camaraderie and golf. His philanthropic heart shone brightly in his 32 years of selling Christmas trees to benefit Don Guanella School, a tradition that brought him immense pride.

Frank treasured his family farm in upstate Pennsylvania, a haven for weekends spent with his children, grandchildren, and friends since its acquisition in 1972. Montana held a special place in his heart, a connection that began in college when he first explored its breathtaking landscapes under the “Big Sky.” It became a beloved retreat during his later years as he enjoyed the wilderness and visited the family ranch.

Frank’s life was nothing short of legendary—a man who could charm a crowd, land a trout, and tell a story that kept everyone in stitches. His life was marked by a deep appreciation for family and nature, and his adventurous spirit and warm presence will be forever remembered.

Frank was the beloved Husband of the late Barbara E. Eichman (nee Donnelly); loving Father of Don Eichman and Doree Eichman Flinn; adoring Grandfather “Opa” of Connor Eichman (wife Olivia), Evan Flinn, Keenan Ingram (husband Davon), and Alexa Flinn (Fiancé- Derik Semetti); caring Great Grandfather “Opa” of Duke and Bodie Eichman. Frank was also blessed to share the past 10 years with his dear companion, Jane Williams whose friendship and love brought him great joy in his later years. Predeceased by his beloved sister Katherine Campo.
