Frank Hendrickson, II

July 12, 1935 — January 28, 2019

Frank Dudley Hendrickson, II, 83, of King of Prussia, passed away January 28, 2019.

Born July 12, 1935 in Ridgewood, NJ, he was a son of the late William H. and P. Josephine (nee Bogert) Hendrickson. He worked as Quality Control Manager for Welding Engineers, Inc. until his retirement. While working with W.E., Inc., he also served honorably with the U.S. Army Reserves and retired as a Command Sergeant Major.

Frank was an avid Flyers fan and enjoyed watching the races, Sumo wrestling, birds, and his cats: Leo and Pipsqueak. He liked to entertain his family and friends with his off the cuff, imaginative storytelling. One of his favorite stories was of the legend of Mooselookmeguntic Lake located near Rangeley, Maine, one of his favorite places.

Frank was the husband of the late Rosemarie L. Hendrickson; beloved companion of Jane Penfield; loving father of Frank D. Hendrickson, III (Saundra LJ), Terri L. Conger (Kyril B.), Shelley H. Bolick (Edward A.), and Kenneth J. Hendrickson (Peggie A.); adoring grandfather of Jessica Hendrickson, Kevin Conger, Danielle Conger Shipman, Cody Conger, Michael Bolick, Alexis Hendrickson, and Taylor Hendrickson; caring great-grandfather of 6; and dear brother of William H. Hendrickson, III, and Alberta H. Burt.

Services will be in the Spring around the time his favorite flower, the daffodil, blooms.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove, Attn: Wendy Christy, 1201 Pawlings Road, Audubon, PA 19403 or via electronically at https://act.audubon.org/onlineactions/pBqICxshsEmmMVGtGdrMOg2?ms=giving_page_84
