Frank Lucas, Sr.

Frank V. Lucas, Sr., of Coatesville, passed away on July 4, 2016.
Born in Pittsburgh in 1931, he was the son of the late Frank V. and Anna (nee Dominick) Lucas.
Frank was the beloved husband of the late Joanne Lucas (nee Dranusky); loving father of Frank Lucas, Jr., Randy Lucas, and Cheryl McNeil (Jay); loving grandfather of Chelsie, Meghan, Holly, and Rose; great-grandfather of Arabella and Ethan; and brother of Diane Ott, Dorothy Blagovich, and Louise Schwartz.
Frank served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War.
He was an avid sports fan and loved the Pittsburgh Steelers. Frank enjoyed bowling, golf, horseshoes, and softball. He was a Pennsylvania State Champion Bowler. Frank loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Friday, July 8, 2016 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080 followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Downingtown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 1120 G Street NW, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20005.
