Frank Salvitti

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Frank P. Salvitti announces his passing on January 24, 2019, at the age of 95.
Frank passed away peacefully at his home with his family present. He will be lovingly remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Frank was a Veteran of World War ll, serving as a radio operator while stationed in Normandy, France. He was amazingly inventive and resourceful with a particular aptitude for all things mechanical. Frank was known for his generosity with his time and talents willingly shared with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Marie G. Salvitti, daughter Barbara Salvitti Vella (husband Frank); sons Vincent F. Salvitti and Paul V. Salvitti (wife Linda); grandsons Michael Kearney and Brian Salvitti (wife Deanna), Vincent J. and Stephen M. Salvitti, Paul N. and Andrew J. Salvitti (wife Taylure); granddaughter Elita C. Salvitti-Whitten (husband Jesse) and four great-grandchildren as well.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, PA 19026 at 11 :00 AM.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963
