Frank J. Wierzbowski, 98, of Cheektowaga, NY passed away on November 19, 2015.
Born in 1917 in Buffalo, NY, Frank was the son of the late Stella (Kujawa) and Frank J. Wierzbowski, Sr.
He served honorably in the US Army during World War II and later worked as a Machinist, in the custom machine parts industry, for Moog, Inc, who named the "Fairplay" award after Frank as a symbol of his character. He also enjoyed singing.
Frank was the beloved husband of the late Emily (Strzenciwilk) Wierzbowski; loving father of Robert F. Warren (Chris), Michael J. Wierzbowski (Patti), Alane A. Butler (Jack); dear grandfather of Sandra Warren (Margerie Phillips), Allison Butler, Dan Butler and Tessa Butler; dear brother of Mildred Skrzypczak. He was predeceased by four brothers.
Interment will be at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Avenue, Newtown, PA 18940.
