Frederick "Fred" Rosato

Frederick F. Rosato, 79, of West Chester, PA passed away on February 5, 2022.

Born in 1942, in South Philadelphia, PA and raised in Upper Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Fiore and Mary (née Barbieri) Rosato.

He was the beloved husband, for 53 years, of the late Arlene (née Zungolo) Rosato; loving father of Fred, Jr. (Sandra) of DeLand, FL, Maria Downs of West Chester, PA, Albert (Cathy) of San Francisco, CA and Michelle Livingston (Craig) of Narvon, PA; dear grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers, Carmen and Anthony Rosato.

Fred was a graduate of Upper Darby High School and Delaware County Community College. He was a police officer for 35 years with East Whiteland Township, PA, rising to the rank of Chief of Police before his retirement in 2001.

He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, enjoyed traveling, gardening, woodworking and spending time with his family.
