Gail Rankin

Gail P. Rankin, 75, of Blue Bell, PA formerly of Queenstown, MD, passed away on August 16, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents Francis and Evelyn (nee Palmer) Phifer and her brother Barry Phifer. Gail traveled the world while working for United Airlines as a flight attendant and even after retirement with family and close friends. She enjoyed many hobbies including golfing, cooking, gardening, photography, sailing and serving on the Election Board in Maryland. She resided on the Wye River in Queenstown, MD for over 40 years where she enjoyed Maryland blue crabs. Gail is survived by her beloved husband William J. Rankin, Jr. loving daughter Kate Boyle (Matt) and her adoring grandchildren (who refer to her fondly as Nina), Regan and Matthew. Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation being held from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM on Monday August 21st at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home located at 746 Kedron Ave. Morton, PA 19070. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM followed by the burial at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations in Gail's memory may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice Program 12265 Townsend Rd. Philadelphia, PA 19154.
