Genevieve Wedge

Genevieve S. “Gen” (nee Gorski) Wedge, 84, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on March 13, 2021.

Born in Hazleton, PA in 1936, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Gorski. Genevieve loved animals and children. She had several jobs in her lifetime, but her favorite was caring for toddlers at Little People Day Care.

Genevieve was the beloved wife of the late Francis R. Wedge; loving mother of Patty Camp (Duane), Linda Hamilton, and Karen Wedge; adoring grandmother of Kyle Kalemjian (Allison), David Hamilton, Joshua Hamilton (Carlie Peters), Matthew Camp (Harley Eisenmann), Sarah Camp, Michael Camp, Jessica Camp, and Dennis Camp; caring great-grandmother of Keirah Gilchrist and Sarin Gilchrist; dear sister of Sophie Koziel and predeceased by 3 siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 4-6 PM Sunday, March 21, 2021 and 9:30-10:30 AM Monday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 335 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335. The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed on The Donohue Funeral Home Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/thedonohuefuneralhome/ . Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
