George J. Bucci, Jr., age 67, of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on January 19, 2016. Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late George J. Bucci, Sr. and Virginia Bucci (nee Mealing).
George served in the U.S. Army in the 4th Infantry Division during the Vietnam War. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. He was an avid Phillies and Flyers fan. He was a coach for St. Charles Borromeo CYO and the Lansdowne Girls Club. He enjoyed cooking, fishing and golfing.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Bucci (nee Abel), his children Michelle Frey (Bill), Nicole Bucci and Cailin Davalos (Vince), his grandsons Benjamin and Samuel, his siblings Mark (Debbie), Bobbie Closs (Rob) and Patti Love (Roy) and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, January 25, 2016 9:30-10:50 AM St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
