George I. Catania, age 74, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on March 9, 2016. Born in Upper Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Ignatius G. and Pearl Catania (nee Gergentti).
George was a graduate of Upper Darby High School and was employed as a Steamfitter with Local #420.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria E. Catania (nee Santucci), his loving children Grace R. Risbon (Daniel), Donna M. Reifsnyder (Randy), George I. Catania and Tina M. Millham (Dennis), his grandchildren Bethany, Danny and Gianna and his siblings Josephine Kay, Grace Esposito, Marie Zekas and Frances Staffieri. He was predeceased by his brother, John P. Catania.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Monday, March 21, 2016 9:30-10:30 AM Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Drive, Secane, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
