George Parmer, Jr.

George H. Parmer, Jr., age 69, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on September 11, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Rita L. Parmer (nee Lees) and the late George H. Parmer, Sr. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed as a Courier with Wachovia Bank in Philadelphia for 27 years. He retired in 2007.



In addition to his mother, George is survived by his wife, Sandra C. Parmer (nee LaMonaca), his children Jane (Eric) Williams, George (Kelly) Parmer, III and Rosemary (Dave) Schaffer, 9 grandchildren, his brothers Howard (Ellen) Parmer and Roy (Cassey) Parmer and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday, September 16, 2014 9:00-10:50 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby and to his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment private.



In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 would be appreciated.
