George H. Thornber, Jr., age 71, of Millsboro, DE, passed away on September 26, 2015. Born in Gladwyne, PA, he was the son of the late George H. Thornber, Sr. and Eleanor Thornber (nee Pennypacker).
George served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He was the finance manager for Ourisman Chevrolet in Virginia. He retired 7 seven years ago.
He was the father to his wonderful daughter, Christine L. Priestley (Charles), loving grandfather of Robert and Colin Priestley and dear brother of Vicki Mast.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, October 2, 2015 5:00-6:00 PM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 followed by his Memorial Service at 6:00 PM. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in George's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103 would be appreciated.
