George Walton

George J. Walton, age 72, of Upper Darby, PA passed away on December 19, 2013. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Bernard J. and Rita M. Walton (nee McConville). He was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys. Mr. Walton served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1966 as a Spec.-4. George was employed with Sears Roebuck as a parts coordinator in Pennsauken, NJ with over 34 years of service. Mr. Walton was also an avid Phillies fan.



George is survived by his wife Sandra (nee DiFrancesco), his children George J. Walton, Jr., Mary C. (Roger) Weathers, Linda A. (Greg) Crider, Kimberly A. (Dave) Henry and Thomas J. Walton, 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and his siblings Sr. Mary Catherine, SSJ, Joseph B. Walton and Michael J. Walton. He was predeceased by his sister Sr. Miriam Joseph, SSJ.

Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby and to his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
