George Edmund Wilwohl, 86, of Honey Brook, PA, formerly of West Chester, PA, passed away December 27, 2018.
Born April 24, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late George E. and Jean (nee Peay) Wilwohl.
He was member of the Legion of Mary and instituted the Divine Mercy Chaplet at St. Peter Catholic Church.
George was the beloved husband of the late Anne (nee Malloy) Wilwohl; loving father of Dr. Kathryn Wilwohl (Jimmy), Mollie A. Strack (Brian), Patricia J. McGlone (Sean), Michael E. Wilwohl (Kari), Timothy G. Wilwohl, Dr. Christian F. Wilwohl (Jon), and Jean A. Wilwohl; loving grandfather of Rachel, Cecilia, Lauren, Allyson, Daniel, Paulina, and George; and dear brother of Mary Jane Neeley.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:00-10:15 AM Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 2835 Manor Rd. West Brandywine, PA 19320 (610) 380-9045, followed by the Rosary and Legion of Mary Prayers at 10:30 AM and his Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy, 2 Prospect Hill Rd, Stockbridge MA 01626. https://www.shrineofdivinemercy.org/
