Gerald A. Dallahan, Jr. 1944-2016 Gerald A. Dallahan, Jr., age 72, of Morton, PA and Ocean City, NJ, formerly of the Bywood section of Upper Darby, PA, passed away, suddenly, on December 17, 2016. Loving husband of 49 years of Elizabeth "Betsy" Dallahan (nee Kelly). Dear brother of the late Suzanne Piccolo, brother-in-law of Raymond Piccolo. Devoted uncle of Michelle Cassidy, Danielle Mulhern, Stephen Piccolo, Kevin Piccolo, Suzanne Chillari, Brian Piccolo and Michele Rothman, and many great nieces and nephews. Jerry grew up in St. Alice Parish in Upper Darby and greatly enjoyed their 8th Grade reunions. He attended Monsignor Bonner High School and Pierce Junior College. He served his country in the U.S. Army (1965-1967). Jerry was employed as the Technical Services Manager for 32 years at Matlack, Inc. a division of Rollins International. He, also worked for TV Guide in the 1960's. He finished his career working for Strybuc, Inc. Jerry's passion was basketball and he could be seen at many of the local High School and area Colleges, in particular Neumann University's Women's Basketball games coached by Frank Farnese. He was, also, an avid player and was a member of the "Old and Slow" League at the Media Boys Club. He, also, enjoyed playing during the summer in Ocean City and Sea Isle City. Jerry loved Ocean City and was a Camp Counselor for Stephanie Vanderslice Gaitley's Hoop Heaven Summer Basketball Camp for many years. He was a good friend to everyone - young and old. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Jerry's life on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 6 to 9 PM, and Friday December 23, 2016 from 9 to 10 AM in Knoetgen/Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Avenue (Route 420), Morton, PA (610) 544-0600 and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Avenue, Morton, PA. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to a scholarship fund in Jerry's name may be made to Neumann University, 1 Neumann Drive, Aston, PA 19014
