Gerald J. "Jerry" DiStefano, Sr.

Gerald J. “Jerry” DiStefano, Sr., age 73, of Aldan, PA, formerly of Southwest Philadelphia, PA, passed away on January 15, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1949, he was the son of the late Faust and Stella (nee Palumbo) DiStefano. Jerry worked as a car salesman for many years at David Dodge, Glen Mills, PA. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed going to the casino and the racetrack. Jerry supported his children and grandchildren at various sporting events and was known as a Hockey Dad and Hockey Pop. He loved to feed others and go out to restaurants. Jerry was very quick-witted and had a great sense of humor.

He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen (nee Tapper) DiStefano; loving father of Gerald “Jerry” DiStefano, Jr. (Christine), KelliAnn Blohm (Ray), and Kristen DiStefano; caring grandfather of Kyleigh, Kierstyn, Gerald “Jerry”, III, Justin, and Kira; dear brother of Barbara Ann MacMillan (Tom) and brother-in-law of Tom Tapper; also survived by his nieces and nephews and close friend Anna Mattoccia Kelhower.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:00-11:00 AM Monday, January 23, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
