Born in Willow Grove, PA Gerald was the son of the late James and Marie (nee McNally) McDermott.
He was the owner and operator of McDermott Enterprises. He was a fun loving man with a very dry wit who enjoyed motorcycles, boats, and fishing. He grew up bi-coastal, living in San Francisco, CA and Willow Grove, PA.
Gerald was the loving father of Gerald Jr. and Shawna of Havertown, PA; dear brother of Jim, Charlie, Larry and Stephen.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Services Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Springton Lake Presbyterian Church, 3090 South Newtown Street Road, Newtown Square, PA., 19073.
