Geraldine Morgan

Geraldine Morgan, age 95, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on January 17, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Della Bealin (nee O’Connor).

A proud alumna of West Catholic Girls High School, Geraldine embodied the spirit of resilience and academic curiosity that characterized her formative years. Her education laid the foundation for a life marked by service and connection, qualities that she nurtured throughout her journey. As a devoted member of St. Charles Church in Drexel Hill, Geraldine imbued the lives of those around her with warmth and friendship. She actively participated in church activities, lending her enthusiasm and support to the St. Charles Auxiliary and becoming a cherished figure in the congregation.

Geraldine's many interests reflected a vibrant and engaging personality. She found joy in bowling, where she relished the camaraderie and friendly competition it fostered. Each week, her home transformed into a sanctuary of comfort and joy during the beloved tradition of Wine Down Wednesday, inviting friends and family to gather, share stories, and create lasting memories over glasses of carefully selected wines. A true aficionado of the Philadelphia Phillies, her unwavering support for the team mirrored her passion for life—fierce, loyal, and full of spirit.

Always impeccably dressed and cognizant of her appearance, Geraldine exuded an elegance that captivated those around her. Her perfectly styled hair was a testament to her meticulous nature and her desire to present herself with grace. Her presence was both commanding and kind, leaving an indelible mark upon all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Geraldine was the beloved wife of the late William F. Morgan; loving mother of Geri DiGiovanni (Jeff), Diane Quigley (Tom), William Morgan (Kathy), Kevin Morgan, Gary Morgan (Margie), and the late Michael Morgan; caring sister of Joseph Bealin, Elizabeth Berner, and Josephine Bealin. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to Geraldine’s Viewing 9:30-10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 3422 Dennison Ave, Drexel Hill, PA 19026, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
