Gertrude C. O'Brien (nee Lipsett), age 100, of Lima, PA, formerly of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on June 22, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Lipsett (nee Harris). She was employed for many years at Patriot Drycleaners in Upper Darby, PA in Customer Service. She retired in 1998.
Gertrude was predeceased by her beloved husband, James F. O'Brien, her loving son, James F. O'Brien and her siblings William Lipsett and Marie Lore. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia M. Stanton (James), her sister Helen Mazurkiewicz and her nieces Edith O'Brien and Chris Aldworth.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Tuesday, June 28, 2016 9:00-9:50 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA and to her Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
