Gertrude Zurlo

Gertrude M. "Gert" Zurlo, 92, of Ellenton, FL, formerly of Prospect Park, PA passed away on March 16, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mabel (nee Jones) Bridge and beloved wife of the late Michael J. Zurlo, Sr. She is also predeceased by 5 siblings, Lillian, Bill, Stella, Daniel and Elizabeth. Gert is survived by her loving children Michael J. (Kathleen) Zurlo, Jr. and Renee (John) Williamson, Grandchildren Jason, Summer and Shelley, great-grandchildren Julia and Alaina, her sister Lauretta Riddagh and also cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Gert attended Glen-Nor High School. She was a homemaker and worked part time for 32 years at Seltzer Company, Upper Darby, PA, a calendar manufacturing company. She loved to cook, bake, going to the beach, singing and dancing, but most of all loved being with her family.
