Gilda Busillo

Gilda L. Busillo (nee Zungolo), age 97, of Drexel Hill, PA, formerly of Brigantine, NJ and the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on April 16, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Pasqalina Zungolo.



Gilda was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas E. Busillo. Loving mother of Nicholas (Janet) Busillo, Sr., M.D. and the late John (Patricia) Busillo. Sister of the late Anthony and Francis Zungolo and Jennie Pavone. Grandmother of John, Joseph, Peter, Natalie and Nicholas, Jr. Great-Grandmother of 4. Also survived by numerous nieces, in particular, Roslyn Pavone, nephews, cousins and friends.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday, April 21, 2017 6:00-8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA (610) 353-6300 and Saturday, April 22, 2017 9:30-10:20 AM St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
