Gloria DiRico

Gloria DiRico, age 95, of Pitman, NJ, formerly of Springfield, PA and St. Kevin Parish, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (née Recchia) Mattia. 

Gloria was an avid reader and above all, the love for her family meant everything to her.

Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Albert F. DiRico; the loving mother of Richard DiRico (Linda) of Springfield, PA and Linda Boyle (Drew) of Mullica Hill, NJ.  She was the devoted grandmother of Erin, Cynthia, Andrea, Brian, Matthew and Laura and the cherished great-grandmother of Marco, Desmond, Arden, Mateo, Luciano, Jameson, Lucy, Gia, Gino, and Livia.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her brother, William Mattia (the late Jean), and dear friend, Cosmo Cascio.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Monday, March 28, 2022, 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Kevin Church, 200 West Sproul Road, Springfield, PA  19064, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.   Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gloria’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105, would be appreciated.
