Gloria F. Gethers

Gloria Frances Gethers, age 82, of Collingdale, PA, passed away on September 1, 2023.  She was predeceased by her parents Cecil and Frances Lane.  Gloria was the loving mother of Rodney Lane, Leroy Gethers (Elaine), and Mary Gethers; dear sister to Loubertha Sistrunk, Priscilla Jamison , the late Llyod Lane, and the devoted grandmother of Bianca Gethers and Parris Gethers affectionately known as Grams along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Gloria graduated from Bok Vocational High School in Philadelphia, PA and had a career as a seamstress.  Gloria had a strong belief in God and enjoyed singing church hymns.  Gloria’s pastimes were tending to her plants, keeping up with home décors through HGTV, and watching cartoons.  Scooby Doo and Phineas and Ferb were her favorites.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Friday, September 8th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, Pa; funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment private.
