Grace McNeal

Grace Ann McNeal (nee Richardson), age 72, of Yeadon, PA, passed away on August 23, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late James Mills and Lily Mae Richardson (nee Stevens).



Grace was educated in parochial schools beginning with King of Peace and graduating from John W. Hallahan Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia. Grace was a dedicated employee at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange and later at the Internal Revenue Service.



Affectionately called "Gracie" she was a very courageous woman and giving to many. She lived out loud and enjoyed life to the fullest without apologies. Grace loved hard and fought hard, she called a spade a spade and pulled no punches with the truth. To know Grace was to love her. She was vibrant, loved to laugh and was family oriented. Her shoot from the hip approach to life was filled with wisdom and love, and she freely shared her life lessons with others.



Grace was generous with her time and loved being with her family and friends. Anyone who knew her knew she was crazy about her grandkids!



Grace is survived by her children Richard McNeal and Robyn R. Elliott (Charles) and her grandchildren Sherrick M. McNeal, Charles H.E. Elliott, V, and Candice S. Elliott.



The family will greet friends Tuesday, September 1, 2015 10:30-11:30 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (Cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 followed by her Memorial Service at 11:30 AM. Interment private.
