Harry Carpenter

Harry B. Carpenter, age 73, of Havertown, PA, formerly of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on February 19, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Catherine Carpenter (nee Kelly). Harry was employed as a longshoreman with the Philadelphia Marine Trade Association. He retired in 2004.



Harry is survived by his wife, Nancy S. Carpenter (nee Danaher), his children Monica Cavanaugh (Mike), Ann Murphy (Pat), Kate McDonald, Joseph (Denise) Carpenter, and Harry (Kathie) Carpenter, his siblings Marianne Batchelor, Joseph (Linda) Carpenter, Cathy (Bill) Boyle, his brother-in-law Bill (Kathy) Parks and 14 grandchildren.

Lynn Blvd.) Upper Darby (610) 449-0300 and Tuesday, February 25, 2014 9:30-10:20 AM Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
