Harry O'Neill

Harry John Joseph O'Neill, 80, of Wynnewood, passed away on August 28, 2016.



Beloved husband of 57 years to Lillian S. O'Neill (nee Scanlon); loving father of Harry John Joseph O'Neill (Laura) of Newtown, Charles S. O'Neill (Cheryl) of Philadelphia, Patricia A. O'Neill (Christopher Grote), of Chicago, IL, and Maureen O'Neill of Arlington, VA; loving grandfather of Mary Catherine, Jessica, Elizabeth, Ann, Karoline, Harry, and Joseph; dear brother of Mary O'Connell (Michael).



Harry was a retired partner at Stradley Ronon. He was active in Catholic and community affairs and was the recipient of the Sourin Award from the Catholic Philopatrian Literary Institute in 1995. Harry received his Bachelor's Degree from Villanova University in 1957 and his JD in 1977.



Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday, September 1, 2016 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300 and 10:00-10:50 AM Friday at St. Thomas of Villanova, Main Campus Chapel, 800 E Lancaster Ave, Villanova, PA 19085 followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment private.



The O'Neill family would like to extend their sincerest thanks and appreciation to Neil Kearney, Carla Burnett, and the staff at The Hearth.



In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Parkinson Council, 111 Presidential Blvd, Suite 141, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
