Harry Schumacher

Harry F. Schumacher, age 67, of Havertown, PA, formerly of Southwest Philadelphia, passed away on December 24, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harry F. Schumacher and Angeline A. Schumacher (nee Castaldi). He was a graduate of West Catholic Boys School, West Point and Drexel University. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was employed with General Services Administration (GSA) in Philadelphia, serving the government for 25 years. He retired in 2007.



He is survived by his wife Lorraine M. Nuyianes Schumacher (nee Haber), his daughter Jessica Schumacher Kara (Scott), his stepchildren Carolyn Reid (Bill) and Robert Nuyianes, his grandchildren Alexis Reid, Andrew (AJ) Kara and Julia Reid, and his siblings William (Gaylene) Schumacher, Patricia (Steve) Henry. He was predeceased by his sister Maria Murray (Bill).

Interment St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, 330 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA.
