Helen Henry, 100, of Glen Mills and formerly of Brooklyn and Long Island, NY, passed away on November 17, 2014 at Maris Grove Retirement Community.
Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1914, she was the daughter of Anna (Flattery) and Thomas Henry, both deceased.
She worked as a payroll clerk for St. Mary Magdalen Hospital in Jamaica, NY and moved to Drexel Hill, PA in 1991 and then Maris Grove in Glen Mills in 2008. Helen celebrated her 100th birthday in October 2014.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by longtime companion, Anthony C. Kuska, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
She is survived by her niece, Anna Marie "Nancy" Mulhern, 5 nieces and 4 nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342. Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 p.m. Thursday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000. Interment will be private.
