Helen M. Kempski

Helen M. Kempski, age 101, of West Chester, PA, passed away on December 26, 2022.   Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 28, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Kempski (nee Kates). 

Helen was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia.   She had been employed as an Administrative Assistant for the Veterans Administration Hospital.  

Helen had been a 91 year parishioner of St. Monica Church in South Philadelphia. .  She was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Mummers and never missed a parade. 

She loved to travel to Florida and had a memorable trip through the Panama Canal.  She was a godmother for three of her friends children. 

In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her brothers Joseph and James Kempski.  She was the beloved aunt of her niece and nephews James, Kathleen, Michael and the late Joseph.   Great-aunt of James, Christa, Kathryn, Elizabeth, Michael, Madeline, Miles, Kathleen, Lisa and Maureen.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, December 31, 2022 10:15-11:00 AM at St. John Neumann Church, 380 Highland Avenue, Bryn Mawr, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
