Helen Martin

Helen M. Martin (nee McHugh), age 89, a life-long resident of Havertown, PA, passed away on July 8, 2021.   Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Elizabeth McHugh (nee Burke).

Helen was a 1950 graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia.

Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband, William C. “Bill” Martin, Sr.  She is survived by her loving children, William C. Martin, Jr., Jacqueline Steen (Eric) and Kathleen Casadonti (Chris).  Grandmother of Eric, Amanda, Kelly, Danielle (Jeff), Nicholas and Madeline.  Sister of John McHugh (the late Gwyen) and the late Mary McAndrews and Leo McHugh.  She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Wednesday, July 14, 2021 10:00-11:00 AM at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
