Helen L. Nicholson (nee Conroy), age 92, of Wallingford, PA, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on January 26, 2017.
Beloved wife of the late Robert W. Nicholson; also survived by her children Sr. Honora Nicholson, R.S.M., Thomas (Lou Markley), Maryclare Carlile (Scott), William (Mary Ann), John P. and the late Robert (Beth). Also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great and great-grandnieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her siblings Joseph F. Conroy, Elizabeth Crowley, Francis L. Conroy, Marie G. Paradis, John A. Conroy and Margaretta Eberle.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday 6:00-8:00 PM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and Tuesday 10:00-10:45 AM Nativity BVM Church, 30 E. Franklin Street, Media, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in Helen's memory may be made to the Sisters of Mercy, 515 Montgomery Avenue, Merion, PA 19066 or to the Augustinian Friars, P.O. Box 340, Villanova, PA 19085 would be appreciated.
