Helen V. Murray (nee Hamilton), age 86, a 50 year resident of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on September 3, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Marion E. Hamilton (nee Rodgers). Helen was a 1946 graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia, PA.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, Michael J. Murray, her daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Michael Bender and her grandson, Michael Murray. She is survived by her children Marian Murray, Patricia (Timothy) Lehman, Michael Murray, Timothy (Jean) Murray, Sally (Frank) Kane, Kathleen (William) Gregg, Joseph (Mary-Catherine) Murray, her sister Marian Conway, her brother George Hamilton, 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, September 9, 2015 6:00-9:00 PM and Thursday, September 10, 2015 8:30-10:00 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Sacred Heart Church, Manoa and Shelbourne Roads, Havertown. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
